Pushkar Fair, Rajasthan enables the opportunity to the desert people, used to a rigorous desert life, to grab their share of fun and frolic. During the fair, the devout Hindu pilgrims flock to the place to take a holy dip in the sacred Pushkar Lake. According to the popular belief, the sins are believed to get washed by taking the holy dip. This act is followed by offering prayers at the Brahma Temple.
